1:1 OG/Structured Literacy Tutoring

Whether your child has mild or comprehensive learning differences, this instruction is designed to rewire their brain to build more efficient reading and writing pathways. It is a multisensory program with explicit instruction that builds systematically. They will solidify their foundational literacy skills, while engaging in fun activities. For the efficacy of this intervention, at least two hours of intervention per week is required. One or both hours can be divided into two 30-minute sessions if preferred. Every tutoring path begins with the Intake Screening.

Private Literacy Sessions (Enrichment and Skill Building)

These sessions are created as targeted skill support: reading and writing; phonics and spelling; building words and vocabulary; writing structure and grammar; story and composition writing; reading comprehension. These are meant to be flexible lessons to suit the individual needs of any reader at any level. Sessions will be based on goals and level of needed support. Every tutoring path begins with the Intake Screening.

Small Group OG/SL or Skill Sessions

While one-on-one intervention is traditionally the gold standard for remediating or advancing reading, research shows small groups of 2-4 students are almost as effective and can provide additional advantages. First and foremost I developed this option to make the investment in this type of tutoring more accessible. This provides you with an option (although not one-on-one) that is individualized at half the cost. Small groups also benefit from peer modeling, sensory reinforcement, dynamic games and community support. OG/Structured Literacy groups are required to take place for two hours per week. One or both hours can be divided into two 30-minute sessions. Skill focused groups are flexible. Every tutoring path begins with the Intake Screening.

Investment

Individual Sessions
  • 1 hour – $90
  • 30 minutes – $45
Small Group Sessions
  • 1 hour – $45
  • 30 minutes – $25
For long term treatment (1 school year) we provide monthly subscriptions to provide a discount:
Individual Sessions
  • $650/month – 2 hours per week (based on eight 1 hour sessions)
  • $990/month – 3 hours per week (based on twelve 1 hour sessions)
Group Sessions
  • $300/month – 2 hours per week (based on eight 1 hour sessions)
Third option:
  • Prepaid tuition blocks:  10 classes for $800 (10th class is free)

It is my goal to make these services accessible to everyone. If your child needs these services and I have not made the tuition manageable please reach out. I will do everything I can to help.
